Viserion
Meet Viserion
Move over ‘Game Of Thrones’, this is the only Viserion I want in my life. Fictional fire breathing dragons aside this band absolutely is a must-hear for any fans of grueling, grinding, glorious metal music. In their latest single “Death Dealer” the band unleashed a fury of slow scraping vocals, throbbing guitar, and blast beats. Get to know the band a little better in our latest interview.
Would You Rather
be able to lift things a hundred times your weight, or have control over all of the ants in the world? Why?
Ben: Control ants so I can ruin picnics & have them bring me the TV remote.
Matt: Lift 100 times my weight & move everyone’s car that parks like an asshole.
John: I would rather be dead than do either of those.
Some questions with Viserion
Would you prefer people to be able to see the colors or taste food when they listen to your music?
Ben: I want them to see fire & brimstone.
Matt: Black metal is colorless.
John: The absence of light.
What compels you to keep writing and making music?
Ben: I enjoy doing it more than anything else.
Matt: My love of music & my desire to always become a better musician.
John: It’s definitely my biggest passion, & greatest ambition to always be better @ my craft.
How did Viserion come together?
Ben: John & I became friends & discussed our love of black metal. We decided to jam out with Matt on drums & we wrote a song right off the bat. The chemistry was there immediately & Viserion was formed.
Matt: Ben introduced me to John & he talked to us about forming a black metal band. Within the first practice, we had chemistry as a band & wrote a song.
John: I met Ben awhile back & met Matt through him shortly after. We discussed our love for black metal & wanting you form a black metal band. In August of 2019 Viserion was formed. Right away we knew we had some amazing chemistry.
