Would you rather…

your skin flash like a fast strobe light, or be incredibly slippery? Why?

I’d definitely rather be incredibly slippery. I’d hate to be a hazard for people with epilepsy.

Some questions with Tiger Darrow

What is the best pizza in NYC?

I’m gluten intolerant, so I only know the gluten-free spots BUT of those, my favorite is Houdini over by the Halsey L.

Where is pop music right now?

Stockholm. Jk —to be honest, “pop” is such a weird, shapeshifting genre that it’ll definitely live forever whether it’s in studios where the top 40 bangers are made or the bedrooms of teenagers learning how to use Ableton (lol I’m a Logic user don’t come for me y’all—I’m DAW agnostic)

What three items do you never leave the house without?

Pre-Coronavirus: wallet, phone, keys / Post-Coronavirus: I don’t go outside.

Would you ever perform on a booze cruise around NYC? What would be the theme?

I mean yes, but particularly if I get to choose the theme. I’d make it "The Sexual Awakening of Flamin’ Hot Cheetos Barbie." And there’d be almost exclusively Mezcal-based Cheeto-inspired drinks. (No Cheetos in the drinks, though; I’m not a psychopath).

What would the title of your memoir/biography be?

“Ya Hate To See It”

Do you pack lunch? If you do what do you usually pack?

I pretty much never leave the house, so I pack lunch directly into my mouth? Most of the time, I forget to eat until around 5PM, so I run to the deli in a hunger-fueled rage and buy some kind of chip and coffee combo.

Who would be your dream collaborator?

Annie Clark or Tyler, The Creator for sure.

What are your most important values as a musician?

Write music you want to listen to over and over. Chances are if it resonates that strongly with you, it’ll resonate with others, too.

Any final comments? (This is your electronic soapbox for one last answer.)

Wash your hands, but don’t forget to moisturize after. And bitch better hydrate.
