Petit League’s “Joyrider” is kinda like sunbathing in the glare of a world-ending explosion. This fuzzy garage track features an almost beach-party vibe with lyrics pointing to the end of the damn world, and I kinda love it.

A classic combination of idle garage rock delivering foreboding lyrics. Distortion layered on top of vocals usually rubs me the wrong way, but it didn’t stop me from having a good time with this track. Smack a Tambourine and watch as the fire consumes everything in its path.
