EXPECTO PATRÓNUM did you get the joke right there? Now I am not a writer by trade. Pictures are more my bag, so when I come up with a clever pun I need to bask in it for a little bit. Okay now where the heck was I? Oh yes an interview with a spectacular head-banging psychedelic rock band. Pancho and The Wizards are nothing short of magical. But don’t just take my word for it. If you had to eat food that was only one color for the rest of your life what color would it be?

Green! Green foods have the most vitamins and fiber

What is your favorite restaurant in the town you live in? What do you get there?

Thai Classic in SLO, yellow curry with tofu. Shout out to homie Vince that works there

If you had the chance to tour with any band active or inactive who would it be?

Inactive: Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin or Ac/dc with bon scott.

Active: Thee Oh Sees, Ty Segall or King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard

If you could rename the United States what would you call it?

Wizardlandia

Do you have a favorite chord? If you do, why is it your favorite?

I have a chord I play that’s kind unusual but my fave, its an E7#9, Jimi hendrix was famous for using it a lot. It’s the opening chord in our song melting.

How does this image make you feel?

What was the intention with this latest EP Cemetery?

The album was a collection of songs we’d been working on for a little bit that we felt went together really well. We wanted to try out different genres and sounds without making it super inconsistent. We like a lot of different kinds of music so we tried to show a little bit of all the different influence.

If you had to be a cover band for a special occasion what would it be and what would the name be?

We pretended to be AC/DC for halloween. It was awesome. If we were a cover band it’d be an AC/DC cover band, not sure what we’d be called tho.
