One of my biggest support is my husband, he is a tattoo to @acetates since I Met him he is been my rock, he is the most honest transparent person that I know, he is an amazing tattooer and an amazing husband. At the very beginning of my career all my friends Ofcourse that they gave me advice and guided me through my career, and the clients that followed me all over the world in all my transitions and changes without them I would not be where I’m this is why I’m deeply grateful!

When and how did you start tattooing?

I start tattooing 10years ago after I finished college ( I studied classic painting and contemporary art) I was supposed to go to LA to do a master in illustration but then I decide to stay in Italy and helped my friend to open her tattoo shop, and Of course, the temptation of trying was very high! Since then I never stopped, I’ve worked all over Europe and then we decided to move to California 4 years ago!

How has your background and/or upbringing shaped your current work, if at all?

My studies and my life lifestyle completely shaped me into the artist that I’m today, my travels my life experiences are the result of what I’m now... especially because I lived in so many different places, different cultures and I bring inside of me a piece of all this. This is so important for me because the fact that I’m multi-ethnic shaped me in so many ways, my education is a mix of Asian and European, and my husband is Spanish so we have a completely different way to approach our life from Americans, and this shapes our work the love that we put in, tattooing for me is an act of love and I love to tattoo because is so mean full for my clients and for me, each story that I “ tell” is a deep and profound adventure for my client!

What do you hope to achieve next in your career?

Tattooing is always an evolving art, it is a daily challenge and I hope that I will be able to do more large-scale tattoos and keep understanding the shape of the body to make armonium tattoos. I hope I will keep meeting amazing people to share my passion and I hope I will keep having the fire that I’m carrying right now! I hope that I will be able to travel again and experience again the fresh air of new influences from different countries!

What is the all-time best toy from your childhood? Why?

At an early age, it was a bunny a plus toy I was carrying it everywhere holding him from his ears! Now my daughter has it! But I have never been very attached to any actual toys, my mother ( that is a musician a cellist) always preferred me to be involved in activities like art and music instead of actual toys.

What are your favorite subjects to tattoo and illustrate, and why?

I love to tattoo historical inspired subject, I like when my clients they bring classic painting as inspirations, I love mythological inspired ideas, those are things that can make very happy and excited about a project, I love the slow and methodic part of creating a new project from zero references from just the idea, seeing coming alive is like delivering a baby ( aha less painful tho)

Any final comments? (This is your electronic soapbox for one last answer.)

For me tattooing is an act of love it creates a deep connection with my clients, all my draws have something to say, nothing is left for the unknown, I do really believe that everything tells a story, can tell a story of pain or beauty, can tell about happiness and grief...and all this it shown in a tattoo, probably this is why they say that my work is very romantic.
